(CHATSWORTH, Calif.) - Sexy Hair is proud to announce Karl-Heinz Pitsch as the company's new President and C.E.O. Pitsch has been promoted from his most recent position as Sexy Hair's Chief Operating Officer, which he has held since joining the company in November, 2008.
A well-respected veteran of the professional beauty industry, Pitsch served as General Manager of Estee Lauder's premium hair brand Bumble and bumble and Group President of the North and Latin American divisions of the Wella Corporation, prior to joining Sexy Hair.
"Sexy Hair is an amazingly strong brand, loved by stylist and consumers, and it has a great distribution base," says Pitsch. "We will capitalize on those assets and continue to invest in the technical and emotional relevance of our brand.
Jim Morrison, who has been Sexy Hair's President and C.E.O. since 2006, will retain his position as a Director of Sexy Hair and will also become the Vice Chairman of Luxe Beauty Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Sexy Hair.
"This change will enable Sexy Hair to continue on the same growth track that we we've been on while affording me the luxury of looking for ways to increase the company's growth," says Morrison, who will act as an advisor to Pitsch.
