“I began exploring haircutting at an early age, including doing clipper cuts for my Army buddies,” he says. “After leaving the Army, I realized I had a passion for hair design and decided to explore my talent and the industry.”
Joining Sexy Hair in 1999, Hardy rose through the ranks as a master artist and educator, doing stage work at hair shows throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Russia and Thailand. He then became director of Sexy Hair’s premier educational facility, Michael O’Rourke’s Institute of Courage, before reaching his current position as artistic creative director in 2007.
