16 July 2010 SEXY HAIR WAREHOUSE SALE RAISES $15,000 FOR CHARITY Sexy Hair opened its doors recently for a warehouse sale to raise money for Look Good … Feel Better (LGFB), an organization that helps cancer patients cope with the side effects of treatment. The two-day event brought in over $15,000 from the sale of Sexy Hair products and $20 haircuts given by a Sexy stylist. All proceeds will go to the nonprofit. (more)

07 June 2010 SEXY HAIR® HELPS MAKE UNDERPRIVILEGED TEENS’ DREAMS COME TRUE Sexy Hair donated $2,500 worth of hair-care products plus styling services recently to benefit “Dress to Remember,” an annual event held by the charity “LA’s Prom Closet.” The nonprofit offers new and gently used prom dresses and accessories at no charge to high school seniors who otherwise could not afford them. Sexy Hair educators Nadirah Volpe and Marc Mapile offered hairstyling tips, demonstrations and expertise. (more)

Sexy Hair, most famous for its top-selling hairspray in the “big red can,” donated $500,000 worth of its shampoos and conditioners to Heart to Heart International for Haiti relief efforts.Heart to Heart specializes in volunteer action and worldwide humanitarian assistance to alleviate human suffering.
